The Barry kids saved dimes to donate to the pet food drive at the local animal shelter. They had $6.40 in all. Drew had the most money, which was exactly twice as much as Abigail had. Joe had half as much as Abigail. Ben had the same amount as Abigail, plus a dollar. How much did each one have?

Each vehicle must have at least two wheels, so
24 x 2 = 48. There were 54 wheels all together, so
54 – 48 = 6. The six extra wheels mean that there are six tricycles.
