During the course of the school year, twenty
five different problems will be posted.
Problems will be available on Friday morning on
the website. They
must be completed and turned in no later than the following Wednesday at
3:00 PM , or 11:30 AM if it is an early dismissal day.
Solutions will be posted the Friday after the
problem has been posted.
A student who submits a solution on the proper
form will receive one point for effort if his/her solution is incorrect,
or four points if his/her solution is correct.
A student who submits all twenty five solutions
will earn ten additional points.
When all the problems have been posted, each student’s
score will be tallied. A gold medal will be awarded for ninety to one hundred
points. A silver medal will be awarded for seventy to eighty nine points.
A bronze medal will be awarded for fifty to sixty nine points.
