Discipline Procedures

General information concerning our school discipline procedures is published in the Student Handbook.  In Grade One, this procedure will be in place:

The primary behavior chart will be used to reinforce classroom rules and monitor homework assignments.  Parents are asked to review the chart daily and sign weekly.

Homework Procedures


Although homework will be posted daily on SchoolNotes, it will be the responsibility of the student to copy assignments accurately and completely into his/her planner during the course of the school day.

In Grade One, these procedures will be in place.

  • Homework is expected to be completed daily.
  • If homework is not completed, the student will sign the Classroom Homework Book.


Grading Procedure

In Grade One, students will be evaluated in their daily work, class participation, homework, tests, quizzes, and individual/group projects.

Service Project

This year, the students in Grade One will participate in a service project. They will collect school supplies for less fortunate students in the Philadelphia area.
